However, for non-core users like myself, it sounded like they only protected your arts 3 months after upload. Does that mean after 3 months I won’t get notified if my art is stolen?

I hope I’m just missing something but if not, I think I’m gonna be considering shutting down my DeviantArt account. (Also, I haven’t really used it in a long time anyway, and it was mostly for fan-art.)

My DeviantArt is overflowing with new art made by wonderful artists that I follow. Sadly, I can't get a closer look due to my internet issues. Please Rise Broadband fix your service already! At least I'll have tons of art to feast my eyes upon once my service is fixed. 🧡

@malusdraco_art Up until about 4 years ago I had to seek them out, these days they come to me, or rather I just have pretty stable work and can generally pick and choose who to add to my schedule.
Funnily enough I recently realized my "portfolio" went down as DeviantART pulled the service!

So Deviantart can detect if your artwork was minted as an NFT. Pretty good, it detected my artwork. Problem is, it was stolen from Deviantart, description and all. 🤦♂️

@SnaccHBG They deactivated their deviantart account as well as their websites and i’m psure their physical store is gone too bc the addresses i found are outdated. They don’t exist anymore so safe to ***ume they shut down.

Honestly I rarely even post on deviantart due to this exact issue. Same with newgrounds. I really only feel comfortable using twitter and those two websites are basically art dumps for me

@smol_nemo I don’t have any specific sources but a few tips! Look at your favorite artist! When I started, I color picked from various ppl’s art because I just couldn’t get it right on the color wheel. Look up skin color tutorials. Ppl on Pinterest, Deviantart, etc. break down lighting-

@DeviantArt I've been a core member for many years, been on DA for 17. Until u fix your search feature, I'm not resubbing. Search STILL doesn't work: reference stock, brushes, even tutorials, first few hits will be relevant but the rest has little to do with what I'm trying to find.
