I’m serious about protecting my brain 🧠 as I age. Learning new things is great! Limited time? Money? No problem what about 5-10mins per day on a free app like Duolingo learning a language? Choose one and go. I do Spanish 🇪🇸

@duolingoUK @duolingo @FTLex We know. But we don't care enough. @duolingo has broken the commitment to learn a language by changing the learning system halfway through our courses. If you care more about animations than your customers, then we're going to learn at a more customer-centric company.

@_SyedHuq That is actually true, even brilliant. I had this issue with the Zero app. It automatically records streaks (without notification), and sometimes I would drop it without knowing. Duolingo is better, celebrating after every finished day. But nothing beats the manual swipe 😈

@duolingo Love the app. I’ve been using my Spanish skills this last 2 weeks on holiday and have got in great. I have an issue though. I dislike it very much when I lose a heart for the incorrect spelling of a person’s name on a listening exercise. Will this change in the update?

@duolingo hate the update you made to match madness. You made it so words appear faster but you still cant click them right away which means i have to slow down and double click them. The old way was better because at least I had a system.

For the issue in itself, it's with @duolingo speaking exercices. We try to push on the button record but it doesn't record anything. This bug as been mainly reported by ios users but I also experience it with a Samsung. I don't understand because it did work this morning.

@JennyRohn @duolingo I studied French, German, and Spanish at school...I can do the pronunciation thing, but my vocab is pitiful. Learned a bit of Italian for the times we went camping there. Basically boiled down to knowing not to ask for a "latte"
