This does also mean that for the next week or so I’m juggling a “standard” Google account, a YouTube brand account, and G Suite Google account. I can’t wait to find out what problems I’ll hit trying to get back down to one.

Just remembering this amazing hug I got from a BIG suiter at a con once.

This is my problem. We've had a free #Gsuite #GoogleWorkspace for my family since #GoogleApps days. Lots tied to it, elderly parents using it, Google Drive archives, etc. I'll prune accounts and pay for now but I wish @Google would provide a 'family plan'.

@killersumobunny I was at 👁Dr and person across hall heart stopped. I ran got Dr, he called for crash cart to no one so I ran down hall to surg suite calling for crash cart. No one knew me, so I looked one into eye and said follow me. Dr was doing CPR I took Wife into my rm, then I had 👁 exam😵💫

I've been on GSuite Legacy forever and it's shutting down this summer. I may move to a paid subscription with them, but I'm wondering what other alternatives other GSuite Legacy users are considering? There's Office 365, Zoho, but just wondering what else is considered decent?

@micahjay1 I have the air and the mini, I can train neural networks while rendering in blender but open three g suite docs and it dies. Chrome is the problem, not the Mac. It can pin any processor.

@edent The email thing isn't the biggest problem for me. My Android phone is registered to my GSuite account, so if I move email providers I'll have to buy all my apps again, I'll lose my YouTube history, etc...

In an absolute worst case scenario: if it comes down to half of the bands not showing up, you have a case to push for a false advertising suite which nets you more money than what you paid for. (8/12)

@mattingham If you just use gmail (and have a gmail address, then it isn't an issue), however if you use your own domain through the old G suite, then you'll need to take action.

Google is shutting down the legacy free GSuite accounts. I have one and it's going to be a giant PITA to switch, especially because my email on my custom domain will cease to be a Google account. Argh! At least I haven't bought stuff with it from Google (like apps, music, films).

@ghickman Not sure. My folks currently use 4 separate “users” in a G Suite organisation, so would be particularly expensive to maintain. Considering slimming down. The pain is moving all the Google-***ociated data in the accounts – YouTube profiles, Chrome profiles, etc 😡
