soundtrap is probably the only DAW i can use anymore, nothing else gets my ideas down fast enough. tbh even soundtrap is too slow. music making is just too slow for me. why u think my main medium is post it notes

If you thought the lack of delay compensation in Soundtrap was easy to fix manually, I'm here to tell you that it's not. I could almost believe that it was. But then Pro Tools broke and I had to overdub some stuff in ST and later imported it back to PT and YOU CAN HEAR THE DIFF

@soundtrap I'm trying to use your program to record a podcast and we aren't able to save any projects we are working on. Syncing is also not working between me and my collaborator. We didn't have this issue a few months back but now we aren't able to do anything.

@jordonlumley I tutor beatmaking students and I was working with one in FL. In Soundtrap, Reason and Logic you just hold down “option” or “control” while you drag an audio clip. In FL, the version he had, you have to turn timestretch on and off and then drag. That’s inefficient.

The recording process takes the longest time and is the most fun for my SS.

Thank you for the 3 people who voted on my recent poll. Now that you voted that I should add my voice, I now know how to do autotuned. The only down side is that I have to pay for a trial to use autotuned on @Soundtrap. Until then, I'll update you all when I get the chance.

@StevesMusicRoom Awesome! What DAW are they using? I tried doing a similar project in Soundtrap and BandLab a few years ago but the tempo would never line up. It was always a fraction of a BPM off. Drove the kids CRAZY. Maybe they've fixed this problem since then?

@MoniseLSeward OMG THANK YOU. Chromebooks are Android-tablets in Laptop-clothing. They don't even have the horsepower to run apps like Soundtrap properly. It raises the bar to entry on DAW training and I DON'T LIKE IT.
