It's from a real old fic I wrote over on Wattpad (cringe) and I'm planning on rewriting the premise of the plot, not the whole fic, kind of like a first draft, just jotting down ideas.

I could name hundreds of fics I enjoy more than C***andra Clare and even when fics are bad, you can learn from the mistakes and beta reading can also improve your skill a lot.
In terms of quality
Ao3 > FF > YA in general > Wattpad > Quotev

it’s complicated too bc i haven’t heard any horror stories about people posting bad smut fanfics to wattpad in high school and being creeped on by adults - it seems to be more of an issue with visual art. maybe it is an issue and im just not in the fanfic loop though

@CrispyMika I hate those and then there are the ones that barely separate paragraphs or clump people talking into the same paragraph.
I mentioned this problem to an author on Wattpad that was notorious for doing this and they came into my DMs to tell me to back off and that it’s not a book

my favourite thing about reading fics on wattpad is the comments on every paragraph. people are so unintentionally funny there, i love it. and when someone says promise, especially if it's louis in the story, they write down 'promise😊' which is not very nice but oh well.
